This has included a number of expeditions.
The Caledonian Canal was an hard challenge were the scouts had to canoe from the East side of Scotland (Inverness) to the West side of Scotland (Fort William). This was successfully completed in a week by all whose took part.
Another major activity Wilton scouts took part in was the "Coast to Coast" cycle ride, this involved ridding from one side of England to the other and was done as a weeks camp, and again all those who took part completed it successfully.
In August 1998 1st Wilton scouts completed The Tees Triathlon a walking, cycling and canoeing route along the full length of the river Tees. This route was designed and planned by the group over a period of about 10 months.
Wilton scouts together with 2nd Normanby scouts went to Holland in the summer of 97 for a two week camp where we stayed in the Dutch scouts homes this was greatly appreciated by all those involved.
Again in Summer 2000 the Wilton Trrop held a two week summer camp in Holland, where great fun was had by all those who took part.
