Sammy the Spider Project

Each time a task is completed we can put a leg on the spider and we have already completed five tasks. We visited the snake exhibition and the Hancock Museum, Newcastle in march. The Beavers really enjoyed this even though the snakes hardly moved whilst we were there. There was also time to look around the rest of the museum which had lots of hands-on exhibits, this was really interesting for all of us.

Other tasks included attending the St. George's Day parade; a joint activity with Cubs was our Easter party; hedge planting at a farm belonging to one of the Beaver's covered conservation; and a poster of a woodland scene was displayed at the District AGM.

The three remaining tasks are well in hand. We are now looking forward to the party after all our hard work!
